'King Kong,' 'Bourne' make Blu-ray debut

The blockbuster films have finally come out in the high-def format after being bestselling HD DVD exclusives.

the new KK BD is also the only way to get Jacksons extended cut in high definition. The HD DVD barely had space to get the theatrical version with few extras. The new BD is an example of why BDs extra space and bandwidth mattered. 3+ hour movie with seamless branching and lossless audio (HD DVD used lossy on this title) and extras (Universal still could have put more on this disc). Happy to see this title finally get the Blu-ray treatment.
