If you use the park you should pay for the service.

Three Rivers Officials: I applaud your decision to allow dogs on 6ft leash. That seems to be a resonable commpromise and I know I will now be more likely to make use of the new Silverwood park facility.

"If you use the park you should pay for the service." Where do you think some of our tax dollars are going?

Maybe "Myers" controls his dog on the extendable leash but 90+ percent of the people I see with them are oblivious to their suroundings or hazards that their dogs are creating for other people. Is it too dificult to walk WITH your dog? If so, maybe you should get a pass for one of the many off leash parks that are provided.

To stop fishing during the 'magic hour' has been frustrating. I also like the idea of opening early. Thanks again 3Rivers. Keep up the good work and push this through!

I paid for the park with my tax dollars and I pay every year to maintain it. So do you and everyone else in Hennipen County. Doesn't anyone get tired of their tax money being spent to build things that once it's built you have to pay again to use?

I love the early morning hours - I Skied at 5am last winter @ French. They opened the parking lot and turned on the lights, it was great. Bring back the 5 am open. This year they are open a 6am not early enough to get in a work out and arrive at work before 8.

None of this matters if you don't do something about the safety factor. And stop the vandalism and break ins in vehicle parking ares.

I think user fee should be reinstated and raise the price of the user fee, so no tax dollars are used to support the park system. Why should people who never use the park have to pay for it? Our streets and highways are falling apart and the parks system has more money than you can shake a stick at. Just this past summer and fall, Baker Park, has put in miles of paved paths. Next time you drive past a park take a good look at what they're doing with our tax dollars.
