Once the Warroad man put his ballot - marked for Coleman - into the machine, there was no retrieving it.

Which would cost taxpayers less money? This ongoing court battle/recount or a run off election? At this point though, I'm sick of it all. Should Franken win, take note of how close it was a win the rest of Minnesota over. Should Coleman win, take note of what happened here and recognize the people are not happy with you and what you have done so far. Otherwise we wouldn't be in this mess.

Dude, for the 225th time, the recount was done because there is a STATE LAW that mandates it. If you want a change to IRV, you need to contact the fine folks at the state legislature who represent you and get them to repeal that law and pass one to mandate IRV. I am going to also once again call on the Star Tribune to post the real names of those who are commenting here because most of you are doing nothing to further the dialogue, which indicates to me you should not have been allowed to vote either; you aren't good enough, you aren't smart enough and doggone it those of us who want civil discourse don't like you.

Just like we were in 1984 as the only state won by Mondale when Reagan was in the midst of bringing us out of the horrible Carter era and had a very high popularity rating. Obviously he won by a landslide. This state will never learn.

will pour over with a fine tooth comb, every vote that was cast by an illegal, non resident, felon, Mickey or Minnie Mouse, etc etc etc, that potentially voted. Hint an easy place to start and end would be the 5th district in Minneapolis. Franken country.

shill68 and company Franken won get over it. The cost to you for Coleman contesting this is going to be VERY expensive. I'd rather have my money go towards getting rid of our country's debt.

Exactly right we need named ballots matched with state id #'s (drivers licenses or state id cards) to vote. This will mean Franken would lose by about 15,000 votes.

Ok, so Norm exercises his right to challenge this obviously rigged 'recount', then predictably, the Strib somehow finds a felon who "says" he illegally voted for Coleman. Of course, there is no proof of this, but they take his word anyway. The point is the Strib can't help itself and constantly displays its bias when running 'stories' like this. Norm challenges the election, and all of a sudden, there is an article against Coleman. Where was the Strib or the Sec of State (hand picked and planted/supported by George Soros and MoveOn) when Acorn was here registering fictious people and illegals, etc ?? Don't recall seeing any articles about all of that. Doesn't it make you wonder?
