The "Barack the magic negro" audio track embodies what's wrong with Republican national leadership - a mean-spirited put-down of someone they don't like. Throw in racist and infantile for added appropriate modifers. The party of Lincoln, limited government and individual liberty has become an anti-intellectual, race-baiting, hate-mongering crowd who knows whom to hate and how much, but not how to govern.

David Ehrenstein name should have been included in the LA Times reference. He came up with the "Magic Negro" comment and his hate towards Obama is well known. What is not known is that he is black. The idea that Rush Limbaugh picks up on a parody song and it is sent with other parodies to RNC officials seems minor in comparison. Oh that's right only blacks can act racist and not be racist. Whites are born racist and must atone for the sins of their great great grandfathers even if they fought for the Union and freedom for blacks. Nice to have double standards. They are so convenient.

So would it be OK to play it from the pulpit?

as a comedian, because he now has no chance of being the RNC Chairman after his stupid gift stunt. But let's be clear that the republican party has no exclusive on hate mongering as the holier than thou deluded moron millgrist displays above, so typical of the teenagerish DFL/liberal. The rabid hate for Palin is but one example.
