Don't you trust the government? Folks are now purchasing SUV's left and right. These are the good days. Don't our local goverments believe in the happy times? They are going to last!! This is America. Have faith and believe. Keep your dreams alive.
....and it's NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS where it goes!! Sigh.
Be prepared for round 2 of 4 dollar gas.
First Fuel Banks in St. Could allows anyone to lock in fuel prices, but they charge a substantial premium for it. The price to lock in gasoline today is $2.379 per gallon.
At least some parts of government are interested in saving our tax dollars. I applaud the efforts and (I think) excellent timing that the west metro governments have shown.
I'm no pro-governmant rube, but I'm glad to celebrate this rare win.
I agree, because when they say there costs have risen we'll know there lying. We'll remind them they locked in fuel prices. That won't change anything though, because they'll tax the hell out of us anyways. My motto, don't save a dime, spend it all. Because when you need a nursing home, you won't have to worry about them taking anything from you. You're already dirt poor:)
You're not one for foresight are you? With the baby boomers hitting retirement age, you actually think the state is going to be able to shoulder the burden of millions upon millions of dirt poor retirees who were banking on their failed investments? You won't be in a nursing home, friend - you'll be a homeless, elderly person.
Our local government, and many rural homeowners locked in their LP last summer for $2.09. Their crystal ball said prices would rise. It's currently at $1.48. Some contracts require 100% up front money. They worry that if the price drops, the speculator will walk away and not accept delivery. I'm glad to see that some schools are trying to save money. Our local school was always in the money spending business, not the money making business.
Driving Chevy Tahoes...?
And Dodge Chargers? The people who work to stop commercial vehicles looking for problems with the vehicles drive Chevy Suburbans.
