This quiet little film is a gem! I laughed, I cried...the characters were real, the humor uncomplicated. I've seen "blockbuster comedies" with far less to laugh about! I'm recommending "Nothing Like the Holidays" to all my friends and family. I see at least two movies a week, including most of the "Hollywood hits." I found "Nothing Like the Holidays" to be far more enjoyable and even more memorable than some of the biggest blockbusters out there.
