Right. Minnesota didn't paticipate in the federal welfare reform act so thousands flock here as the lose the welfare in other states that did participate.

If you did, you'd know that the State Demographer has roundly disproved this right wing propoganda. People come to Minnesota, as it turns out, because we (used to) create good jobs for people with less education. Try coming up out of the basement and engaging with the real world. You might learn a thing or two about your own community.

that is when I decided to do the right thing and embrace all diversity, because I realized that if I did not, then I would soon start to sound like all of the other ignorant people out there. Black, white, gay, lesbian. Makes no difference to me. I can hardly wait until the entire U.S. is diversified. It cannot come soon enough.

yeah...and that is why the number of household living in Minneapolis is actually growing!!! What I don't understand is why suburbanites care about what happens in the city...we get it...you don't like living in the city. But I hated living in the suburbs but you don't hear me bashing Lakeville. Are you afraid that if the city is successful it will call into question the choices you have made? I seriously don't get why you would care.
