Pensions for public employees are the biggest scam going. Who in the private sector gets a pension? Why do I have to pay 8% more in property taxes to pay for a pension for mediocre public employee that probably couldn't cut it in the private sector????? This burns me. The public employee unions sell their votes, that's for sure. Thanks, Dems, nice thing you have going with the unions.

People can't pay their heating bills, their mortgages or put food on their tables and these idiot democrats are going to just keep raising our taxes. Everytime Bush gives a little tax break the democrats gobble it up with more taxes!

We've already tried getting people to buy houses with other people's money. The result has been a large amount of excess housing supply (particularly condos) that developers now cannot get rid of, and falling home prices. Let's try exercising some restraint this time around.

Come on Rybak, this winter looks really snowy. Cut my taxes so I can buy a new snowmobile. I could also use a big screen tv. What do I care if the roads are crumbling? There's snow on the ground! I wanna ride!!!!!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe Pawlenty is a republican, and ultimately the buck stops with the govenor, so don't try and blame this on the DFL.
