or have I paid much attention to this. But isnt a lawyer suppose to advise their client on their best course of action? Maybe Petters knows something we dont but this case sure looks pretty clean cut against him.

Let the plea bargaining begin. With no hope of restitution, time is all he has to give.

The only plea bargain that this slimeball should get is life in prison for the lives that he has totally disrupted with his get richer schemes. He came across as such a "care for his employees" kind of guy. I believe that the only person that he actually cared about is himself, and maybe his daughter. It was all about him and how much more money could he gather up, and which movie star or sports figure could he be photographed with. Life without parole!!!

The media is quick to write a story and keep in mind they are trying to sell a paper. People are quick to judge others in this type of situation. Can you imagine what Petter's family and friends are going through? Does anyone know what it is like to go out in public with others judging you? Maybe there is something else going on that we have not heard yet. In my eyes he is innocent until proven guilty. My thuoghts and prayers are with Petter's, his family and friends.

He had to know that the Feds were after him......Why didn't he take a few hundred millions and move to a country with no extradition and live like a King? I would had done just that, wouldn't you?

If I were facing a federal indictment, possibility of spending life in a stinking, crime ridden federal prison, I'd flee the USA to a foreign country which has no extradition treaty with the USA. I'd rather spend my life on a beautiful sunny beach surrounded by gorgeous young, thin, women. Let's just hope corporate executives in the financial services industry take my advice before it's too late. IF you think you've committed a crime.. heck.. don't gamble that you'll be acquitted... get out NOW
