I am sorry you have no faith in the process. I have been an election judge for over a decade and I have never seen an election official make any attempt to influence an individual voter or the outcome of the election. Each judge takes an oath to uphold the process, and I personally resent your dismissal of the honesty of your fellow citizens who have volunteered to serve the cause of fair and honorable elections.
Still, I hope that Minnesoteans will keep the Norm. Norm is a good man that deserves another 6 years or longer in the Sneate.
These are real people who do this because they feel its their civic duty. The rest of you, sitting at home doing nothing but complaining and making things up, should take the time to present some PROOF that these people are rigging the election. OR go do the job yourself.
I was a recount observer (volunteer doing my civic duty) these past two days, and I can say that here in Minnesota the mantra is "this isn't Florida . . . we're gonna do this fairly and accurately and to the law." The election judges, city clerks, and county staff I observed were people of the highest integrity, dedicated to making this the cleanest and best election recount in the nation.
We are Minnesota First, whether it's at Gettysburg or tallying votes in a national election recount. That's our legacy, and we can all be proud to see it in action today.
