Coleman and Franken: egotistical children. self-important, self-serving, lawyered-up carpetbaggers. Neither deserves to win. I voted for franken. i hereby retract my vote. I DEMAND THAT THEY RETRACT MY VOTE!!! One less vote for Franken or I sue somebody -- anybody!!

I hope this comes out clean because the fraud and crap Franken's camp is trying to pull is absurd. Trying to add vote by "voter intention" is rubbish. I personally know at least three people that voted for Barry Obama but voted for Coleman, it's not necessarily a straight democratic vote. Even these people could spot a huckster that will drive our state right into the financial toilet, kinda like the long-standing, democrat stronghold Duluth, which is on the brink of financial collapse. When are people going to realize that increasing taxes hurts everybody?

Sorry but a lot of people are very concerned about the outcome of this election, not only here in Minneasota, but across the country. If Norm wins the Republicans in the Senate can block any reform by filibusting with their 41 votes. If Al Franken wins and Saxby Chambliss loses in Georgia, the Democrats have a filibuster proof 60 votes. So sorry pull your head out of the sand and see the why this race is so important.

Filibuster or not, I have lost faith in our politicians and due to this process I can see that will not change without MASSIVE reform. Do we really believe we have any say in this outcome either way? NO! Coleman is full of lying cheats just as much as Franken, so ALL of you on either said get off your HIGH HORSES and realize NEITHER of these people have the faith of even half of us. Many just got a vote because the voters were afraid of the other guy or his party. Why do you think Bachmann won? The thing is we are powerless to clean it up and must look to those currently in office to stand up and do what is right for EVERYONE, not just their investors. Yes, investors, the lobbyists and high pocketed backers who've been bribing for decades no differently than organized crime, or the warlords in third world countries. The wheels are falling off because big business and big labor, and bigger special intrests treat us all as batteries to charge their consumption of our GDP.

Coleman backers keep accusing Franken and Ritchie of stealing the election. You have never offered one shred of proof. You've had a couple discredited accusations, but no proof. Put up or shut up.

Determining voter intent is not "rubbish" nor is it Franken fraud or crap. IT'S THE LAW!!

Most are saying Norm Norm Norm Norm. Minnesoteans love the Norm. This is why I do predict that Sen. Coleman will retain his seat in the Senate for another 20 years or longer. We don't need change. And, we don't need anymore Democrats in office. We have enough already. Norm will win! Why? Because he loves you. And, we love him.

If you are too dumb after the election judge instructs you to fill in the circle, your vote should not count. Period.

If you are really that ANAL to deny a vote because they put an "x" rather than fill the circle, get a grip. the intent is obvious, be it for any party. The American people are just as partisan and non-cooperative as our congress, and won't admit to their own interest. Just want to be better in some insignificant way. Some are still fighting the civil war. go figure. What's happening right now will affect everyone (including future generations) for life. Taxes WILL go up to pay for the greed of the last decade, and it's up to us to start looking forward to the future of the world economy, not just the next month profit or loss. The idiocy of pure party devotion & special interests is what got us here. Want another generation to do the same? Start looking intentively at issues, taxes vs benefit to the public, not just party affiliation, or don't bother to vote. The truth is, nobody tells the truth anymore, and if you don't care, theywill take it. We all want great roads & schools, snowplows, and all the services government can give, but don't want our taxes to increase to pay for them

Sammy, it doesn't state that the box was marked with an X. It seems to imply that no box at all was marked. If the person can't place a mark in the box, either jokingly or by accident, their vote shouldn't count. "Some ballots were no-brainer challenges. One was marked with an X, but it was between the candidates' names."
