and when the recount is done, Franken will probably be the one in the lead. That's what the experts have said. The majority of undervotes are in democratic strongholds, because they have the older less reliable vote tabulator machines. Coleman is well aware of this fact, so it behooves him to try to discredit the inevitable.

That's because a lot of Democrats who voted for Obama couldn't stand Franken ... and they didn't vote for Senator.

I do not mind the recount being done and observers present from all parties but I wish there were some way to keep lawyers out of the recount rooms.

The last thing Coleman wants is a complete and accurate recount. I will now predict the future: EVERY ballot that an election judge tabulates as a new vote for Franken will be disputed by the Coleman observers, no matter how clear the intent of the voter may be. Coleman will tie this thing up in court until he is thrown out on his ear.

After the Florida "stop the counting" debacle in 2000, it's vitally important all legal votes are counted here. I went thru training today for this effort. This is very very serious business. Everyone in the room training with me felt the same.

To say so in the Online Strib headline is purely yellow journalistic sensationalism. We will be awaiting the results of a RECOUNT, for Pete's sake. The match has taken place already and can't be repeated for six years.
