I picked up The Hour I First Believed this morning. Everything up to page 13 is riveting (only 710 pages to go) so I decided that I wanted to know more about this. Time for a Google search to figure out Lamb's motivation...and then a long, enjoyable, complex story.

From the moment you take in your first sentance of either of Mr. Lamb's previous best sellers you know the man behind the words is an incredibly gifted writer. I find Mr. Lamb's works to be like reading in 3-D. That is, you feel as though the words are morphing into a reality of time, place, circumstance that one can almost touch and you most certainly feel. I have been anxiously waiting on Mr. Lamb's return. I can't wait to see what he has in store for us this time.
