Takes money from convicted felon Republican Senator Ted Stevens, then doesn't give back $14,000, claiming it's too old of a donation to return. Lives in a mansion in Washington, D.C., then pays rent way below the market rate to his buddy Jeff Larson, who owns a telecom robo-call company. Goes on all sorts of free trips courtesy of Big Oil, Big Pharmaceuticals, and Big Insurance/Wall Street Banking, and flies whenever he wants on the private jet owned by an Iranian businessman pal. Yeah, he's a cockroach, and yet some people want to have a toady of George W. Bush representing Minnesota, including the editorial board of the Star Freakin' Tribune. Stunning.
I just love the last line about Coleman showing his biggest lead since April, when the lead is less than the poll's margin of error. The headline calls it a lead - I call it up for grabs.
...the prize goes too....Al Faken...sorry I meant AL Franken.
Sorry, just channeling the usual GOP whining point memo.
Your guy Franken was a failure and will be a loser next week. Franken is in the pocket of special interest and big corrupt labor unions.
Hard working Minnesotans will be coming out in droves to vote Norm in for another term!
NORM COLEMAN 2008!
Never seen someone write so much and say so little. The "big (fill in the blank)" argument does not work. Franken has taken money from special interests, taken endorsements from corrupt ACORN, and is in the pockets of big protectionist labor unions. Franken made money the "hard" way? For a person who spouts out about "hard working Minnesotans" you actually think that Franken has any what it is like to work? Think those hands ever got dirty or callused? It's no lie that Franken has had many failures in entertainment, the biggest being his radio venture that went bankrupt under investigation for illegal loans.
Coleman's vote on the bailout, while I had reservation was the right thing to do to free up the credit market for individuals and businesses such as myself. This is why Chambers of Commerce endorse Coleman - creating growth. So far Franken has not provided any strategy behind real growth, only outdated and failed ideas from the Great Society era. By the way, Obama, Pelosi and Reid voted for this bail out? Were they dead wrong too?
Polls and Newspaper endorsements are in Colemans favor as well as the "hard working" Minnesotans that are coming out in droves to vote for Norm. Franken - Frankly unfit for office. Thankfully Dean Barkley will trim enough votes from NYC Franken to ensure victory for Norm.
NORM COLEMAN 2008!
I just hope and pray the results of this poll reflect the results of the election on Tuesday, so that Franken will move back to New York for good.
Poopie - ah well I can live with Norm as long a Michele Bachmann gets the boot.
Job 1 is to throw the present bums out, hopefully enough lukewarm Barkley supporters recognize between now and Tue that he's not making it over the hump to make this 3-way tight, and will vote to eject Coleman in a race with no viable good options, only viable poor options. Then we can eject the other one as well, six (6, ouch!) years later.
If we don't toss the incumbent then we've endorsed the directions and consequences of the past 8 years.
I love the comment about "hard working" Minnesotans coming out in number for Norm. To be sure, he can dependably count on hard working hedge fund titans, oil execs and anti-choice fanatics. Oh, and "hardly working" trust fund kids. For the rest of us, it's an easy choice. Don't buy the lies, hatred and hypocrisy of "Wind Sock" Coleman. AL FRANKEN ALL THE WAY!
