Stupid story by lefty Strib. Bachman wins easily, this district resents outside influence from radical dailykos or democratunderground types. Nobody here likes Tinkleberg or whoever that DFLer is.

Please keep cameras and microphones around this woman for the next two and a half weeks and let her continue to embarrass herself and those who voted for her... You people should be ashamed.

Oh, please! Congresswoman Bachmann, we heard you plain as day say "Absolutely. I'm very concerned that he may have anti-American views." That was an embarrassment to Minnesota and its people; it was downright shameful that an elected member of Congress should say such a thing. And now you choose to insult our intelligence by claiming it was "misreading of what I said." Oh please... Minnesota deserves an apology; Senator Obama deserves an apology.

Betcha Bachmann's ears were burning when McCain claimed to have repudiated comments by the 'fringe' elements among his supporters.

Hate Bachman for telling it like it is - the truth hurts, doesn't it? Minnesota doesn't like socialists from out of state trying to fix our elections.

We all heard you.

Rep. Bachmann is vying to be the new chair. What kind of newspaper writes an story without getting to the main point? The quote by Rep. Bachmann that really upset everyone I've spoken to about this was, "The news media should do a penetrating expose and take a look. I wish they would, I wish the American media would take a great look at the views of the people in Congress and find out are they are pro-America or anti-America." Are you or have you ever been a member of the Communist Party? It's McCarthy-ism all over again.

Question: What's the difference between Michele Bachmann and Joseph McCarthy? Answer: Lipstick

ematthewOct. 19, 0811:54 PM

Bachmann is a disgrace to Minnesota and she needs to go. Calling for an expose on members of Congress to determine who has an anti-America agenda smacks of McCarthyism. Who is to determine the standards for being Anti-American - Michelle? Well, I guess that means anyone planning to vote for Obama is harboring an anti-American agenda.

Thanks to Michele Bachmann, we now know who Michele Bachmann really is! She is a venomous, spiteful, snickering, slimy politician masquerading as a neoconservative Republican who want us to believe that if you do not agree with her or her party you must be unpatriotic or unAmerican! I have news for you, Ms Bachmann, neither you nor your party have a monopoly on patriotism. Stop being a disgrace to the office you now hold!
