I work downtown St Paul and discovered Senor Wong's shortly after it opened and it has been a favorite since then. Even come in with my husband on the weekend. Their sweet potato fries are a must order each time I go. Love the place!!!

". . . makes me wonder about the Señor Wong that could have been, had the Truongs leased the former Fhima's space (now home to Pop!!), the bright-lights big-city address. . . " or an upscale version in downtown Mpls - my friends and I kept wondering the same thing as we sat in our front row seats for the opening of the Beijing Olympics. The food was great and the hosts couldn't have been more accommodating.

I went to Senor Wong's once at about 5:00 pm on a weeknight. There were three other parties in the entire restaurant. The service was horrible. I had to wait ten minutes to order. I never got a water refill. I went for the pho, but the were out of pho. I am not making this up. I also had to wait 15 minutes after finishing my meal, which was my third choice, to get my check. I sincerely contemplated just walking out. There were just too many problems front of house and in the kitchen for me to go back.
