As a life long cyclist and ardent opponent of Bush I have to agree with ssbiker, Bush has done something right. I am also a conscious environmentalist and the attitude that bike destroy the trails and the ecology is just plain wrong. If trails are built right and cyclists taught proper trail use the trails will only benefit from the use. Indeed many times the inpact is less than hikers. Sooner or later the backcountry movement needs to wake up to the singletrack movement and how it has become managed and how it has changed.....that includes our own State Parks here in MN.
