After the hundreds of lawyers get their shares and the government screws up the value of remaining assets, lucky if anyone gets 1 cent on the dollar. And I need some fresh film for my 1968 Polaroid camera!

The biggest flame out of the young century...Petters...wow that was collossal collapse in judgement and greed. What happened your parents not teach you that if you steal from people...especially billions of dollars you won't get caught? Arrogance.

Good Lord - I think the only people probably interested in this anymore are his investors. He's in jail until his trial and he's bilked a bunch of money from people who had a bunch of money to begin with and are apparently very greedy. Doesn't that pretty much wrap up what is going on here?

Petter's deserves everything that will happen to him. The people who invested in this are also deserving of what they get. If I had a million to invest I would do my home work. I would go to these companies and ask questions. A paint store in excelsior would make me ask alot of questions. The people who really get hurt are the workers at Petter's who did NOTHING wrong but will have to pay the price. In the movie Wallstreet one of the lines in the movie is Greed is good.Petter's is GREED and he should pay the maximum penalty

While I certainly agree that the science around this phenomenon is still being learned it is indisputable that average global temperatures are rising and that man-made activity is playing a part.

Is there someone with a little pull? Get Tom Petters a presidential pardon under Bush, work out some sort of deal with Obama, and get him a job at the Treasury Department. They like men like him over there. By they way -- I'm being sarcastic here.
