A Strib pole showing Angry Al in the lead is the equivalent of the Russian press showing Putin in the lead. Both have about the same amount of validity.

Coleman wouldn't even be in the Senate if Wellstone hadn't died. There was no way to replace him before the election so Coleman won by default.

Your first indication is that Obamatribune is the one doing the polling. You might as well declear Obama is the President and Not funny comic Franken is the new senator.

Voters are fed up with all those Bush protege types, and it seems like we all know Norm is one of those. Michelle Bachmann may be the other Bushie that gets tossed...We have seen the damage to our world and our money wrought by G.W.Bush, the worst president ever! No on COLEMAN! NO!

Every week there's a new poll for this race and there's a 10 point swing almost every time. Either Minnesota has gone schizophrenic or nobody knows how to take a poll properly (a common problem these days). Regardless, it's anybody's guess who's really winning this thing right now.

freewheeler, feel free to pull your head out of the sand...(or elsewhere)...everything is going to be O.K. Shut Rush off for a few days and have a few independent thoughts of your own.

How laughable, of course the startribune would report that their poll favors Al (i've never served in any office) Franken. The guy who's not even a good comedian has as little chance at beating Norm Coleman as Wellstone did, who in these little pre-election polls was trailing Coleman. I honestly have no idea how anyone, even liberals, could possibly vote for Al Franken. He has as good a chance as Carter did against Reagan...

5 points every 2 weeks makes this an awfully competitive race.
