All major league sports leagues are doing everything they can to screw up their respective sport. NFL TV, Big Ten Network, and now the ALCS on TBS...Why would you want only a fraction of your fans (especially in a over-the-air state like Minnesota) to see your game? It lines the owners pockets with sweaty cash, but only shrinks the fan base...
So I don't get to listen to Dick Bremer make excuses for the Twins all night? Darn.
Instead of complaining why do people just get cable or satellite?
Instead of complaining why dont people just go and get cable basic cable is less than $15.00 a month and includes tnt, tbs, espn, and fsn.
you have to ask for basic cable to get the lower price.
... then just listen to Gordo and Dazzle on the radio this time. Americans have been sitting, on edge, by their radios during important Baseball games for almost a century now. It's still a treat in its own way.
This should be on any/all regular providers as this is a regular season game (check where the stats apply - it isn't the post-season) so the cheap dirtballs should allow it on the regular channels. If they want to drive away viewers, this kind of cheapskate behavior definitely helps.
This game should be on regular season channels. But I am thanful. Otherwise, I would be watching WGN and listening to the White Sox announcers who at one moment sound like crows and the next minute sound like donkeys.
Dick Stockton is senile, but Ron Darling is a very solid color commentator. Harold Reynolds is full of cliches...and himself.
"This should be on any/all regular providers as this is a regular season game." So? There's no rule that says your home team's games have to be on TV at all! What are a VAST majority of the rest of the Twins games on? FSN North... a cable/satellite channel! The whining by hoser212 et al is illogical.
Hoser doesn't know what he's talking about. The stats from these games don't count as regular season, as if that would make a difference for television rights anyway.
