It worked for northwest! They could even share those maintenance bases we built on the iron range! Birthday cake for everyone!

Only one base was built and that was in Duluth(as far as I know, Duluth is not part of DA RANGE)

The government will probably be bailing out the airline and automotive industries in the next year or two anyways. Petters money..real or not will not matter anyways for Sun Country or any other airline!

Petters or not, this area would be taking a step backward if we let Sun Country go under. The jobs and the service they provide are well worth the small amount they are requesting.

bailouts. Its a business, it either breaks even or makes a profit. If it loses money continually, its time to turn off the lights and go do something else.

I'm far more in favor of helping Sun Country survive and grow than I would be if NWA were to still be around (I'm already viewing them as being merged with Delta) with its hat in hand, asking for another loan with which to screw the MN taxpayers once again. Cut whatever ties there are with Petters Group and I think Sun Country has a good chance to make it. I love flying them if it's to a destination where I'm headed!

We need those good $10.00 per hour wages here.

Fuel is going to stay high or go higher with the current bailout.

And where do you get the 25 million (or more) that the goverment seizes from your airlines that was fraudently aquired by Mr. Petters? I want the airlines to survive but you are misleading your customers to think that this federal indictment does not affect Sun Country.

You obviously are clueless on how this, or any other business for that matter, operates. The government will not "seize" any of Sun Country's money. Whether they survive is not known, but there will be no seizing of any of their assets.
