In Norm's eyes, the Republican Party doesn't do anything correctly. Had McCain not scaled back the convention, he likely would've called the right wingers as selfish and insensitive; not concerned about the people who are/were in the parth of Gustav. Since he can't attack the party for that, Coleman bashes it for scheduling the convention on the second anniversary of Katrina. Well duh. When else should a political party schedule its national convention? Every time I read Mr. Coleman's editorials, he comes across as a smug, arrogant jerk. But for some reason, I come back to read every one of his columns.

It's curious that every negative column you write about St. Paul, the convention, etc. you always mention the Republicans, law enforcement and other perceived evil doers.
