Pawlenty was abysmal today...he really showed how out of touch, old and tired the Republican/Bush/McCain message is. Yawn.

"It would be a given that Minnesota would go red then and I can't bear the thought that I'd be living in a red state. Better dead than red" .........he hasn't even gotten a majority vote in this state either time he was elected governor. If Hatch hadn't campaigned badly, Pawlenty likely wouldn't have been re-elected. He was a "better the devil you know" choice. McCain would have a better shot at the state with Romney, who actually won the MN primary.

If McCain wants votes from Mn. with Pawlenty as his running mate, Pawlenty better drop Molnau like a ton of bricks.

No doubt Timmie's a great story...rising to the ranks of governor underneath the dress of wife, a local judge. But that's OK....what has he done? Lower standard of living, failing infrastructure, lower educational test scores...so that's what the GOP wants? FAILURE....spelled PAWLENTY? Strange, isn't it?

Regardless of who McCain picks its a crappy ticket. Just like Obama/Biden. Whatta joke!!! This is the best that this once great country has to offer: a bunch of empty rhetoric speaking vile human beings... AMERICA SHOULD BE PROUD!!!!

The republicans always pick someone who no one wants as president. This protects the president from assasination attempts. Not even a madman would want Dan Quail or Dick Cheney or Tim Pawlenty as the president.

I have lived in a red state for the last 10 years and we pay no state income taxes. our property taxes are lower as is the sales tax. Blue states don't give you much bang for your buck and reward people for not working-no thanks see ya later and get a clue!
