And neither are the McCain and Obama camps as anticipation builds about their choices.

So if Pawlenty does become McCains puppet, does that mean we will have to suffer with Molnau as governor? I don't think I could stomach her for two years. She did a horrible job as DOT commissioner. What would she do to the state?

It seems clear that given the amount of leaking on this story, and the fact that Kaine is actually somewhat moderate on some issues, this is a trial balloon. Obama wants to see if the far left pitches a fit about Kaine. If they do, no Obama-Kaine ticket, if they don't, Kaine is in. That's from Not WRIGHT for America (www.notwrightforamerica.com), and it makes perfect sense.

between McCain and Obama-neither one is electable but if McCain chooses Pawlenty as his running mate there is no way I'm voting for him.

I would LOVE to see McCain choose Pawlenty. That would assure us of an Obama victory in November! Pawlenty will receive paw-lenty of scrutiny on his marvelous employment of "no new taxes" on our failing schools and falling bridges. And his judgment & leadership skills? Look at who he chose as his Lieutenant Governor and head of MNDOT!!

I think it is clear that Pawlenty is a bald-faced liar. He PROMISED Minnesotans that if he was elected he would serve out his full four year term - but now he can't even answer that question when asked by the press. I am glad I never voted for this liar...he fits in well with Bush and Cheney. Maybe McCain should take him. I am done with him, and would like to see him out of MN for good.

If he chooses Pawlenty, he deserves to lose in November! They could run on a no new taxes pledge and let everything fall apart or they could just call a new tax a fee!

Pawlenty raised my taxes to build a stadium for the billionaire Twins owner. We don't need a tax raiser, especially one who is a servant of the rich and powerful, as VP. Come to think of it, we don't need someone like him as governor either.

The VP is about as important as the First Lady when it comes to election time.

Remember when Pawlenty was a footnote on every short list? 'He won't make it through the vetting process,' we said. Well, here we are, with T-Paw still in game. At this point, how CAN'T he get the VP nod?

As if raising taxes to biuld a new Twins stadium isn't bad enough look at the "wonderful" location the Twins chose for their new stadium-next to a garbage dump-and no roof. And raising taxes for Hennepin County-without a referendum!!!!!!!! I'm hoping for a monster blizzard on the night when the Twins are scheduled to play their home opener in their new stadium.
