Even the loss of two of its top performers couldn’t keep Wayzata from winning its eighth consecutive synchronized swimming state championship. Despite having to replace 2013 stalwarts Amanda Uhrke, lost to the U.S. national team, and Haley Ruegemer, who left for speed swimming, the Trojans’ depth carried them to a comfortable victory Friday at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center. Wayzata finished with 137 points, while Stillwater was second with 94.
