Gov. Tim Pawlenty could find a position for Ron Carey if he were VP.

While I could care less about whether he becomes VP or not, the idea of a "Governor Molnau" is enough to make me barf.

no offense, but you would be a poor choice. McCain needs a VP from a large swing state. MN electoral votes have not gone for a repub since nixon.

As the Governor who ordered the City of Lake Elmo to haul in 15,000 unwanted residents, to make some land speculators rich, Pawlenty would sure make a replacement for Pres. Cheney. Maybe the citizens of Iraq will get freedom at the same time Americans get toppled by sleezy dictators and their rich backers.

He fits right in with the never pay crowd. If it doesn't showup directly on their tax bill they think their getting a deal-real cheap. What can top that? To bad it ain't true.

Hi America, I'm Tim Pawlenty, I raised Minnesota's taxes more than any Governor in history (I was very clever to push the State's burden to local tax payers to foot the bill) , screwed public education, set our state's health and human services back 3 decades, vetoed every bill I could, and let the state's infrastructure fall into the abiss, I'd be glad to be a heartbeat away from the presidency.

Hmmmmmm . . . . .barely wins 2 elections, loses majority in Legislature, can't bring in votes for "his guy" even in the primary, and 6 solid years of "Governor NO." What a great choice for Vice-president . . . NOT! Then to leave uss with the ultimate slap in the face . . .Governor Molnau! It would be the shot in the foot that would destroy McCain's chances!

One needs to only go to the very first decision Governor Timmy made after securing the gubernatorial nomination to realize his true political incompetence . . . . he chose Carol Molnau as his running mate. Need anything else be said?
