Climate report: Southeast is 'exceptionally vulnerable' to sea level rise, hotter temperatures

MIAMI — The Southeast is "exceptionally vulnerable" to sea level rise, extreme heat events, hurricanes and a decreasing freshwater supply, according to the National Climate Assessment released Tuesday.
