Please tell me this little improvement was done at his own cost. Or is this another 11k investment the taxpayers have done to make a statement about hizzoners greenness? Does this guy ever spend a dime on things that really matter like cops and firefighters? nice work if you can get it

The same people that want us to use electric cars are blocking the new Big Stone II electric plant in South Dakota. If a significant number of people get plug-in cars, where is the electricity going to come from? We're already asked to reduce power usage on high utilization days due to limited supply, imagine how it would be if a large number of electric cars began using power.

@idontthinkso on Jul 16, 08 at 7:40 am: You don't have to raise peak production to have enough capacity. Just plug in the cars at night when electrical demand from commercial users and residential air conditioning is down.
