Wisconsin agency seeks OK to develop potential rules to compensate for Chippewa spearfishing

MADISON, Wis. — Wildlife officials are looking for more flexibility to preserve Wisconsin's walleye population after the state's Chippewa tribes dramatically increased their spearfishing harvest goals last year.
