North Dakota man who cooked synthetic drugs that led to 2 deaths of sentenced to 17 ½ years

FARGO, N.D. — A North Dakota man who told police he was a hobby chemist who cooked the synthetic drugs that led to the overdose deaths of two teens in 2012 was sentenced Monday to 17 ½ years in prison.
