The Wolves need to finnish out this trip 4-1, come home and continue to win at a high rate, The season is getting short, if they don't get hot and win something like 9 out of 10 games, they are not going to make the playoffs. shabazz' play is very encouraging for the future. Maybe this draft was not so bad after all, he is only 20 years old with a lot of upside.

With the Kings looking to sign Royce White, and releasing Jammer from their squad. I think he is a better shooter than Hummel...Maybe Flip should look at picking Jammer Up...It's just an astute observation that can really help the team in stretching out the floor more.

Call me crazy but this Team(Wolves) WILL MAKE THE PLAYOFFS!!!

Jimmer over Hummel ? No thanks. If Jimmer isn't scoring he is worthless and that can be against a lot of people.

How can they have a chance to go 4-1 on this trip if Saturday's game is the 4th game on the trip? Something is amiss.

Hummel can't shoot. He was a pity signing. Neither can Mbah! Nor Shved. Makes you wonder if the Wolves actually scout the players before signing them. Bazzy can score, yet he rides the bench all year while our anemic 2nd unit can't hit the broad side of a barn? Cmon, Rick. You can do better than that. If the Wolves can actually go on a winning streak, something not seen around here in 10 years, I will get excited.

Hummel was not a pity signing. He was a "hey this guy can do lots of things decently and nothing horribly" signing. You worry too much about shooting.

manoliveFeb. 27, 14 3:57 PM

He was the 58th pick in the draft. He's had plenty of chances to do something, but hasn't done much, at least to the naked eye. Give those minutes to Bazzy then get back to me.

If scoring 1.4 points per game on 25% shooting flips your switch, like Hummel has done the past 7 games, while notching an 8.39 PER for the season, then Hummel is definitely your man, Muddy. Me, I'm looking for more...

Manolive - You're looking too much at individual production. The team with Hummel on the court is a +3.5 per 100 possessions. The team with Shabazz is currently at -10.6 per 100 possessions. That's not saying one player is better than the other. But each has a different set of skills and expectations when on the court. Hummell has played solid.
