It's hard to believe that it won't be too many years until all the folks who fought and experienced WWII are no longer with us. Certainly a defining (if somewhat glamourized) generation in our nation's history. It's always interesting to hear them talk about what they did because I don't know that many of them had any visions of grandeur about what they did -- the way most of them saw it, they simply pitched in and worked together to do what had to be done!
