SOCHI, Russia — Sidney Crosby skated in alone on Henrik Lundqvist, faking Sweden's goalie to the ice with a textbook-quality deke and sliding a perfect backhand into the net.

Congrats to Canada. The entire nation lives it and loves it. Their team deserved to win. See you again in 2018.

Well that message is clear! Canada plays with spirit! Thankfully a hard fought, entertaining, exciting game+silver medal from US women.

Granlund on all tourney team! Fantastic, way to go. Considering the dismal leadership by Captain America, maybe he can have the A taken away and given to Granlund.

Well...Canadians may be millionaires but that is the system now ...Pros-Play. We had plenty of millionaires too. One team played with gusto and the other one did not...spirit! No sour grapes...WE got the lesson. And this proves...Americans do not always win. Love the Olympic competition!

Canada - clearly better than everyone else. Hats off to our northern neighbors! USA's issues were many. Parise might still be injured but didn't play anywhere as well as his old man would have! Suter was happy just to continue to see his old man's Gold Medal in the family trophy case. Kane was really the biggest disappointment for USA. He truly played more selfishly than a Russian! 'Kane was not able' ... as a matter of fact he wasn't even as good as former NHL star 81 year Sid Abel today!
