Snowplow drivers face a challenging season

Nice story. One edit though: a 494 entrance ramp would not lead to the Mall of America. An exit ramp would do so. An entrance ramp would lead from the Mall.

A-Ha! Thank you @stuntmonkeys! This partially explains why I get looks from the people I bring to the airport. I always want to drop them off at Arrivals because we are arriving at the airport. They insist on being left at Departures, where I exit when leaving the airport. Go figure.

I hear a fair amount of complaints about snow plows blocking driveways with snow or not pushing snow far enough to the side. However, I am very happy with the guys who do our two roads (we have a corner house). When the snow piles are higher than their blades, there is just not much they can go to push the snow higher. I sure get the impression that they take pride in doing a good job---and it is not an easy one. Thank you guys and gals!
