The Best QB in this years draft isn't even on this list. His name is David Fales out of San Jose state. Not too many people know of him because he plays for San Jose State. But his kid is going to be the next Tom Brady. Vikings need to take notice.

10-44 on that plus the kid is good sized at 6'3" and 220. he is also going to be throwing the ball at the combine something none of the other "superstars" aren't going to do......

When I say David Fales is the next Tom Brady. I don't mean it only because he's under the radar and projected to go anywhere from the 3rd round to the 5th round. He literally plays kinda like Tom Brady. The way he throws the ball, his stance. How me moves in the pocket. Very Tom Brady like. Also reminds me a little of Brett Farve too because he's a gunslinger like Farve. This kid can make any throw. And out of all the Qbs in this years class. Fales is the only one I see make elite NFL throws on a consistent basis. Yet no one knows about him. I HOPE VIKINGS GET HIM!!!

If you watched the throws at the combine today there were only 2 guys consistanly making NFL throws on all the routes. Blake Bortles will probably go #1 now to the Texans as he is the real deal at 6-5 / 230 and mobile with good arm strength. He was a close second in the group today behind Matthews. Matthews just went from the 5th round to the 3rd(maybe 2nd) today with his throws as he was pretty much dead on with obvious top caliber NFL arm strength and accuracy. He is 6-4 / 230 and tough, smart, hardworking etc. This is( maybe was) the sleeper QB in this draft as it was obvious today when watching him throw the ball that he has what it takes to be very successful in the NFL. By the way, Garapollo who has been linked to the Vikings braintrust threw 3 weak deep balls in a row. Like I said, he is the CP of this draft and it is incredibly scary that he is linked to the Vikes. Please Norv, save us from the same mistake twice. The wild card in this mix is Logan Thomas as he is a manimal at 6-6 / 250 and the fastest 40 in the combine for QBs at 4.6 also. He has a gun for an arm and is working with a pro on improving his mechanics. This guy has pro bowl potential. Savage and Pachall were not there to compare today but Matthews just moved up at least 2 rounds and blew McCarron, Fales, Boyd etc. out of the water today.

In the most amazing stat I saw concerning the combine is the 40 time and standing jump numbers from Tom Bradys combine workout. Brady ran 5.3 in the 40 and jumped only 24 inches. In today's draft he would still go in the 6th round. One thing though, if you can't run and you can't jump you had better be able to be a superior passer. Maybe there is something to take from that when the Vikings draft. Guys that can run will run instead of passing. While that is a trend these days, it puts your QB at greater risk of getting injured too and lets them pay less attention to their passing mechanics. We already have a run almost first QB in Ponder. You don't see Brady,Manning or Rivers running much, but they sure can pass.
