Ahhh. So you ARE paying attention to the commenters on matters such as this. Include a restaurant at the top of this tower for those wishing a better over all view of our city.

I would tend to agree with rental charges. If these apartments / condos are high buck rentals you may as well put nothing on this property. The same applies to the hotel rentals.

@west336 - the units will rent. The three that are currently going up downtown (LPM, the renovated SooLine, and the Nic on Fifth) are almost full. People will pay to live downtown that is not a question.

There is plenty of cheap rentals near downtown in Elliot Park and Loring Park -- Why people think that a brand new building should be affordable is a mystery to me. New cars are more expensive than old cars -- the same is true of buildings.....besides the low wage jobs are in the suburbs -- why should the city have much affordable housing at all?
