A good reason to permenantly suspend opposition to capital punishment in Minnesota. These people are out here amongst us.

This monster cannot be killed quickly enough. Hopefully another prisoner will do it causing unspeakable pain and horror to occur as he dies.

What explanation can he possibly give as to why he grabbed the girl, forced her into his truck, sped away with her & she was found dead at his home??

Death penalty and give the killers million dollar trust to the family of Hailey Owens. It won't bring her back but it could be some comfort.

Why do they keep referring to him as a Missouri football coach? How is it relevant? Should we be afraid of coaches?

Gophrr, Thank you! I'm asking the same thing. He wasn't this girl's coach. Is the STrib going to start identifying every criminal by his/her job in story titles?

gophrrr and ch1979...you read this story and your main takeaway is that you are upset they said he was a coach? Really? I don't think anyone will have an unfair bias against coaches (and I say this as a sports coach myself) after reading this article. I just hope this guy gets what he deserves and the girl's family gets whatever support they need.

Fine, let him plead "not guilty" and then take him out and hang him!
