Republicans lawmakers in Arizona want to give business owners the right to refuse service to gay patrons if doing so goes against their religious beliefs. *********** Religious freedom is a wonderful thing Why would gays want to spend their money at an establishment that does not want them there?

They probably wouldn't firefight, but they have the right to make that decision for themselves.

So much hate, all in the name of religion. I suggest that the lawmakers remove the log from their own eye before removing the speck from their constituents and tourists wishing to support the Arizona economy. Check out the Gospel. I mean it.

What the religious radicals don't tell people, and what, tragically, many Americans apparently don't know, is that when it comes to determining what the laws of the United States mean, the only document that matters is the Constitution. The Constitution, a completely secular document, contains no references to God, Jesus or Christianity.

Being left-handed – being black or being gay is just as natural. It is a sometimes rare occurrence to fall in Love and to hold that person in your heart and be loved in return ... it is something that should be celebrated! If it is love between two guys or two girls … all the better … it takes even more courage to defend that LOVE!

Being left-handed – being black or being gay is just as natural ***************** Being left-handed and being black one is born with those traits. Being gay is a choice. There is no scientific evidence that one is born gay.

How dare you all have the gall to decide who should be discriminated against and who shouldn't. I hope none of you who made the decision to allow religious people to discriminate against gays and lesbians do not have kids who are gay or lesbian. What made any of you think you could do God's job and judge anyone. The only thing you all have succeeded in is hurting your own economy because there are A LOT of gays and lesbians out there and you will end up making people lose jobs over this. Nice going!!!! I hope non of you as well call yourselves Christians because a true Christian would LET God do his job.

"Being gay is a choice"... I disagree. People don't "choose" a lifestyle that may subject them to discrimination or harrassment. BTW, I am a staunch conservative. I was once borderline homophobic but after getting to know many gay people, I have come to the realization that sexual prefernce does not define a person or their values.

It's neck and neck on what state's more backwards. Kansas, where they want to make it a law that you can beat your kids so hard it leaves a mark. Arizona, where someone proudly carries a sign that says "NO GAYS ALLOWED." For a party that's run by the "Hands off my wallet" tea party, they sure seem awfully interested in the lives of a couple same sex adults.

Well, any company that discriminates deserves to be driven out of business to make way for a more consumer friendly entity. Righties forget that capitalism abhors a vacuum and there will always be someone to fill the void.
