Speculation on Wolves star Kevin Love’s future, already a hot topic, was turned up a few notches Wednesday night.

I don't really care if Love gets traded. Let's build a team. I think other teams just let Love get his points and stop everybody else. I don't think Love gets double-teamed that much. The opposing team doesn't seem to try to take the ball out of his hands.

Everyone knows Love is gone after next year. If the Wolves think he is sticking around they are delusional. I'll say it again they are soft and have no leader that brings out the best in the team. Love is good that we know, but superstar talent? Nope. Love is not a leader.

Bloggers like Vescey are always creating rumors so they get website hits. Website hits make money for all involved. Someone please show me the proof that Love wants outta here? When did he say that and to whom? Produce one witness that can prove Love wants to be in LA? All of it is a social media myth, conjured up by beat writers and lonely jerks (trolls) sitting in their mom's basement.

Agree with holmes66 in that this is made up,but Peter Vecsey isn't a guy who sits in his mom's basement. But he is a guy who hasn't broken a big story since Latrell Sprewell choked Carlisimo, and he's just make an 'educated speculation' as per one of his tweets. I highly doubt the California boy that Love is ran to a New York wash out columnist with his inner most thoughts. Put another star along side Love and watch him stay, watch us win. Love is a star, he proved it (again) last night.

So heres a question. When can the Wolves offer the max extention? Do they have to wait until the last year of the deal? Can they this off season? Does he have to opt out of the last year first? Some info on that might be helpful. Great stomping of the PAcers anyway last night. Great performance by Ricky and Kevin. I really think the sky is the limit for those two together if we can just have a consistent supporting cast and a coach that (to quote Reusse) hasn't given up.

Perfect time to trade Klove is right now, especially after scoring 42 points. This team will NOT make the playoffs this year so it is time to start planning longterm, which, unfortunately requires yet another rebuild process. If Klove did inform Flip, and don't think for a minute that Flip's denial of it means squat, thank you Kevin for at least telling us so we can get something in return. I just hope Flip is savvy enough to net something huge in return. there was a rumour reported a couple days ago of possible deal with Golden State, Klay Thompson, Harrison Barnes and David Lee for Klove and other throwins to match contract $. Not sure if true, but if it is, I do that in a heartbeat. Come on Flip, time to really earn your keep.

They wouldn't be the Timberwolves if they didn't mess up player contracts, the draft and retaining the star and face of the franchise.

Love isnt going anywhere...in fact LaBron is going to sign here with the wolves and win a Championship with Love...thus ensuring he will be regarded as the best ever (by winning a championship in Minnesota!) You all heard it here first!

If the Wolves were smart they would trade this guy to the Lakers right now and pick up another first round lottery pick in one of the most loaded NBA drafts we've seen in a long time...but smart teams don't spend over a decade in irrelevancy so I'm sure he'll stay for the phantom "playoff push"

Just because Love states the MN Timberwolves are a better team than the Lakers doesn't mean he wants to stay with Minnesota. The Lakers are the third worst team in the Western Conference and why would Love want to be traded to a team with less chance of making the playoffs than the Wolves? No, Love will be traded today, and it will not be the Lakers.
