Having personally visited feeding centers in a third world country that benefit from these meals, this story made my heart happy on this snowy MN day! I would encourage as many people as possible to donate their time and resources to Feed My Starving Children here in the Twin Cities. It is a easy, fun and rewarding volunteer experience which has a huge impact on the less fortunate around the world. And any local food drives are equally as important and rewarding!

Unfortunately, MN is prime territory for the ACLU/Freedom from Religion nutcases, and the schoolchildren who did this in a (Gasp!) church basement were faced with the horrifying prospect (according to the whackos) of being in a place where they might actually see a religious symbol, and they could be traumatized!
