Funny how Parise and Suter have been complete non-factors so far. Chip, please don't use the most overused word in the world in the title of your articles; your vocabulary is wider than that. Thanks, that'd be "epic" of you.

USA caught a HUGE break on the disallowed 3rd period goal. If these two teams play again for the Gold Medal it will be the most watched hockey game in history. USA USA USA

in a shootout, too bad its not a real victory in overtime, didn't know the dummied down the Olympics like the rest of hockey, won't be long before they don't keep score and everyone gets a trophy to take home

Suter a "non-factor"? He had a half hour of ice time, Ovie was off the scoresheet. I'd say Suter had a solid game - as usual.

Yeah, these shootouts are downright lame. Why not play more overtime or at worst one OT and call it a tie. Or maybe go 4 on 4 in order to give us some old time 'shinny' hockey. That would be EPIC Toatsmcgoats!!

Absolutely top entertainment. Just about everything a hockey game could offer. My hands were sweating during the shootout. I love the idea of being allowed to send out the same shooters again and again. Russia was flying high and it seemed the crowd was loudly behind them. Very exciting finish that was a nail biter to the very end. Love Olympic hockey! Go USA!!
