Ouch, didn't even say the obligatory about hoping to work it out and stay. Flip better hit the phones and get value for him.

Love states he just wants to win. Easy decision - his choice is to join forces with Kobe Bryant and perhaps another superstar in 2015 or play in a cold climate on a miserable team with a futile 24 year history of advancing past the first round of the playoffs one solitary time. Thank you Kahn, aka the nightmare that never ends.

Stay home Kevin, we need you.

why would he want to stay here anymore than any other elite player on our pro teams or high school teams stay? The pro and college teams here are losers, and always will be. I detest the Vikings, but they are the one organization that really seems to want to improve. Not to mention this weather

I love the timberwolves as much as the next fan, but look at it from Love's perspective: Minnesota is a dead-end franchise in a freezing cold state who hasn't sniffed the playoffs in 10 years, when statistically a team should make it every 2 years in the NBA. Besides Pekovic, he doesn't have suitable talent around him, and our franchise isn't exactly on an upswing heading into the future. I hate to say it, but if I were Love, I'd bolt.

No heart. If he was as good as he thinks he is Love would be finding ways to win more game with the Wolves. You are elite or not. Jordan, Kobe, and some others found ways to carry their teams. James, not so much. Love a great deal less. If he wants a big deal, prove he is the player Love thinks he is. Step up and make the big plays when the game matters. Love thinks he is great, then be like Mike.

I not only expect Love to leave when he can, I actually think it would be the best thing for him. And I will wish him well wherever he chooses to go. If it ain't LA, I'll be shocked.

Kevin probably will "stay home." Home being California. People from California don't want to live in this tundra. People from California who are in demand won't.

BallFour - Do your research. Love grew up in OREGON. He played ONE YEAR at UCLA. Yes, he has a home in LA, but if every NBA player who lives in LA in the off season played there the league could have 15 teams in the LA market.
