This city needs investments and upgrades. Who cares about some old building. Too many empty lots and run down buildings that developers won't touch because of stupid votes like this one.

How sad that we are going to waste time to see if one of the buildings is "Historical" It's not and its not all that interesting to look at. If you don't want change, there are plenty of small towns ringing this city to move to where things never, ever change.

Looking at this property on Google Streetview I am finding it hard to understand what is historically significant about this structure? It is your average 1900's single-story brick commercial building you can find throughout Minneapolis.

It's sad that people seem to think that if the city changes at all then it's somehow ruined. That was the kind of thinking that led to San Francisco's current sky-high rents.
