The President should have a free hand to borrow as much as he needs to spend. The Congress, particularly the Republicans, should have no say in the matter. The President is just trying to build a bigger, stronger, and more powerful American Government and shouldn't be held back by archaic rules.

Obama promised to cut the unpatriotic deficit in half in his first term when it was at ten trillion dollars. This unqualified fool will leave us a deficit of 21 plus trillion dollars when he is finished. Quite an accomplishment from a community activist with no experience. Thanks voters.

So, just forget about the other branches of government and led King Obama rule? seawaves, at some point, Obama and his party will not occupy the White House. The same suggestions should apply, right? By the way, America is weaker, less powerful, but it is bigger (government) under your hero, and these "archaic" rules are our Constitution that made America the greatest nation on Earth.

They are all bought and paid for. Out of touch politicians playing for the mainstream medias attention on both sides of the isle. Guess what people? People are waking up. Even those who voted for this administration twice. They will be held accountable in 2014. The next "shot heard around the world" will be in the form of Americans' voices being heard.

The President should have a free hand to borrow as much as he needs to spend. ****************** The present administration has increased the debt by $7.2 trillion dollars in 5 years, where as Reagan, Bush & Bush II increased the debt by $7.5 trillion in 20 years, and you want this man to have a free hand to borrow and spend???????????

Oh, Oh. with the Dems not having anything to blame on the GOP, the country will have nothing to think about besides the failed obamacare and the failing economy of obama.

re: the failed obamacare and the failing economy of obama..... A little early to be calling Obamacare a failure, and the economy is improving. 0-2 joe.

re: mexironFeb. 12, 14 7:52 PM Obama promised to cut the unpatriotic deficit in half in his first term when it was at ten trillion dollars..... You seem a bit confused between debt and deficit. I would suggest you straighten that out before you become outraged.

The President is just trying to build a bigger, stronger, and more powerful American Government and shouldn't be held back by archaic rules.*** The time for Congress to nix budget increases is when they're in the act of funding legislation, not at the time when it comes time to pay our bills for their previous appropriations. That is unless extortion has become the new normal in partisan politics and paying one's bills is an archaic rule.
