Ohio college student, 21, reported missing apparently died of hypothermia after falling asleep

GRANVILLE, Ohio — An official at a central Ohio college says a student who was the subject of intensive search over the weekend apparently died of hypothermia after falling asleep outside.

If you are going out, hang with your buddies. And your buddies should know enough not to leave you. I was at a new years eve party long ago when someone said "where's Greg"? We went out looking for him and found him in a snow bank in his t-shirt at -20 degrees. He was fine, but it threw a scare into us.

Please use the buddy system while drinking and many other activities. Us parents just cringe at these loss's. Just to dangerous.

I'm glad that I never went to college. I can still find my front door no matter what the temp. outside is. Another perfect example of the, "copy and paste society"....

What a sad loss for this young person's family and friends. I think back to my late teenage and early twenties, and I was no different than these young people. They are at an age where they think nothing can happen and they are invincible and then it takes a tragic loss to wake them up to the dangers and the need to be responsible for themselves and their friends. What a terrible way to learn another one of life's hard and tragic lessons.
