I do agree this will be wasted on us Republicans. It appears to be geared more towards the incoming protesters. I think it's disgraceful how the taxpayers are footing the bill for so much of the Republicans' private party. These people have been gaming the system for far too long. It's not just the obvious criminals like Jack Abramoff and "Duke" Cunningham... this spring, a government audit found that 98% of the private contractors in Iraq had violated anti-fraud regulations and federal laws. ("In one example, $11 million was paid to a U.S. company without any record of what goods or services were provided...") These people have spent the last 8 years ripping off the taxpayers -and the state of Minnesota wants to roll out the red carpet?!
