A great effort by the Gophers. Atrocious officiating.

Seen all this before under collapse in games they should be winning! And these last three were supposed to be the winnable ones on the schedule! I don't see many wins remaining! Another buildup before the big fall! I guess it's part of being a Minnesota sports fan these days! Like I said last week, NIT at best and that's a stretch .

Can anyone say "tubby". This team still has to much "tubby" to win close games. Plus their half court offense sucks. All individual, no team work. When was the last time anyone saw an organized play that seemed to work?

Two thoughts...the second chances allowed by the Gophers made me want to vomit. And I don't know if the officials are corrupt or incompetent but either way the Big Ten ought to be lambasted for their indifference to the game of basketball.

Why did Malik Smith play 5 minutes???

Last minute officiating of the 2nd half cost us the game, but we are a way better team than Purdue is. Poor effort by players and coaching.

So sick of the losers in this town. It's the fan's fault. We don't expect enough. Everyone just say's it's ok, we tried, it was a good game. BS they choked away two straight. Not acceptable.

One of the worst displays of rebounding by a team I have seen in years. When you get outrebounded 20-4 on offensive rebounds it's amazing the Gophers never lost by 20 points. Hammons had at least 4 fouls that were not called and obvious ones at that. Not sure whats going on with the officiating but it's literally game after game. I still expect this team to rebound and bounce back and get some nice wins. 4 losses now by a total of 11 points that's hard to take.

No question the Gophs played hard. King was excellent tonight as was Mathieu. We lost this game on the glass, my friends. Haven't looked at the boxscore yet but Purdue must have had at least 15 offensive rebounds. That was really the only thing the Gophs did poorly tonight. Ok, and we didn't the 3 too well either but thought we played well enough to win.

The best we could do is have a hobbling Andre H in there. It looked like he's been out for a couple months. Like a Tubby team they start circling the drain come February. Pitino sure takes losses well. There are glaring spots to be filled with recruits hopefully…..Sid, 75% of Big 10 games have lousy officiating, you have to live with it…..
