Great news! I am very happy Scandella will not miss the rest of the season. He is right up there with Suter and Brodin.

I hope his return is in that 3 week range. I think Scandella has arguably been our 2nd best D man this year. Brodin is good, but a few flaws have been exposed this year, and one has to wonder how much of his success has been directly related to him playing with Suter most of the time. Scandella has had a cavalcade of D partners on that 2nd pairing, and yet his game has been steadily improving as the season goes on. If the Wild could somehow acquire one good, big right shot D man with some toughness, they'd be set for awhile.

Good news for Scan and the Wild. Not so good for Koivu.
