The Wild climb into 6th place. This was a team win. Plenty to like about their execution tonight. I thought Zucker finally figured it out until his stupid drop pass attempt with about 4 minutes to go. I am sure the coaches asked him why the heck he didn't get the puck deep, like he's been told since he was 8 years old!!! Sigh. He's getting there, as are most of the young guys. Where does Vanek fit on this team? That will be a fun debate.

Russo..... Is Koivu tradeable? Is there a chance the wild might explore that option? I hope that you and Brodziak have a press box date planned soon.

It would be nice if the Ws could skate 6 defensemen for a whole week. Too many injuries will force this team to keep a shuttle going 24/7 from Iowa.

Nice win, Wild. Kuemper was solid. I really like his game.

Btw, Ogie, the Wild are still the 7th seed. Top three from each division automatically make up the first six seeds in each conference. After that, the next two highest point-getters from each conference snag the 2 wild card spots. Wild are in the seventh position. In years past, your observation would be correct. Now they seed for the playoffs a little differently.

Why wouldn't you want Parise to be tradeable Q? He is the highest paid player on the team and he was not on the scoreboard. It would really help the cap. You do realize that when Mikko returns, he will be getting the most time on the ice of any center, correct? Regardless of what label you want to stick on a line. PP, PK, face offs, etc. that is what he does. Granlund won less than 30% of his face offs. And for the second game in a row, the new number 1 line didn't score a goal. Had 12 shots though, and none of them went in. And that didn't count several Brodziak-like shots by Parise. Particularly that wide open net whiff over the goal.

Zucker was all over the ice and played great. Brodziak cost Kuemper the shutout as he got lazy and did not cover his man in front of the net. Overall a great game by the Wild.

Zucker & Spurgeon were studs last night and Darcy was a beast in net, Great win.

Good morning everyone. Fire Yeo, trade Koviu, give Parise the C and release Brodzniak. The Mild won by a very slim margin last night. IF they make it to the playoffs, they will have a very very tough go at the better teams in the western conference. The Mild will be four and done if the make they playoffs anyhow. Oh and I forgot, trade Zucker.

Suter's worst game by far in my estimation. No one is perfect I guess. Good game Wild.
