What is Mayo bringing to the twin cities that Tria and Twin Cities Orthopedics has not already delivered? If Mayo is trying to get their foot into the twin cities, that's fine, but what are they offering that we do not already have? From my experience with Tria and the Orthopedic Surgery Department at Mayo, Tria is much better. Maybe this will work better than their attempt at Mall of America.

Not exactly adding to the nightlife or "downtown experience" in any way but it will at least pay its taxes and won't go belly-up anymore...

Good news, sounds like a drastic improvement economically from what has been there.

I think Mayo made the right choice by staying out of the MOA. It kind of says a lot about the MOA that Block E would be a better choice actually.

No more Kieran's? I can't imagine the Mayo wants a bar in their facility.

How many people in the twin cities will have health insurance to visit this new sports medicine facility? What are they bringing to the twin cities that Tria and Twin Cities Orthopedics is not already delivering? This is a big expenditure, and I wonder, is the tax payer involved in anyway with this project? Did the Governor's office play any part?

Glad SOMETHING's being done with Block E, but isn't downtown becoming a little void of retail, restaurants and attractions suited to building a vibrant downtown?

So I wonder if any of the DMC money is being spent for their "collaboration"?and to the people of Rochester I think this is only the beginning of Mayo pulling the wool over your eyes, and to the previous comment on how many people will be able to afford to go to the new Twin Cities sports medicine facility, probably none, being a former Mayo Rochester employee, right from dept directors mouths Mayo "vision"is to cater to the wealthy, cash paying customers, employees, medicare, medcaid, private insurance they can't make any money,so I think you will find Mayo getting into the more commercial side of business, funny they can still call themselves a non for profit, what next?a Mayo emblem on the Timberwolves and Lynx jerseys?

"What is Mayo bringing to the twin cities that Tria and Twin Cities Orthopedics has not already delivered------if you have to ask this question you either don't know about the Mayo or you work for one of the other facilities. Mayo is the second ranked orthopedics hospital in the country and are number one in many categories.
